New Year Brings New Look, New Team, and New Chapter
for Young Education Professionals
Washington, DC – Young Education Professionals (YEP),
a nonpartisan organization that connects tomorrow’s education leaders,
announced today that it has a new look, new team, and a new chapter in North
Carolina.
YEP’s new logos give the group a fresher look and allow each chapter to differentiate itself. The logos include an updated version of the original YEP tree, which signifies both learning and the many branches, or chapters, of the organization. The circular arrow around the tree represents connecting. We have also incorporated our slogan, “Creating tomorrow’s education leaders,” into many of the designs. Finally, there are now personalized logos for each chapter, which chapters can use for their own events and marketing (and maybe even t-shirts and coffee cups!). Check out our new logo and new website design at www.youngedprofessionals.org
With the continued expansion to new sites and the desire to provide more resources and support to our chapters, YEP National now has an official leadership team. YEP National’s new leadership team is comprised of current and former leaders of YEP’s flagship chapter, YEP-DC. As the organization matures, the team will include leaders from other geographies. More information about YEP National’s leadership team can be found at www.youngedprofessionals.org/our-team
The new year has also brought a new chapter, which brings us up to eight entirely volunteer-run chapters across the United States. YEP’s new chapter is YEP-Triangle North Carolina, which serves the Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and Durham area. YEP-Triangle NC will join our already established chapters in the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Birmingham, Colorado, DC, New York City, and the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul. More information on YEP-Triangle NC can be found at www.youngedprofessionals.org/yep-triangle-nc
