YEP-Birmingham Chapter Relaunch
Young Education Professionals-Birmingham
WASHINGTON, DC – Young Education Professionals (YEP), a nonpartisan organization that connects tomorrow’s education leaders, is excited to announce that our YEP-Birmingham chapter has officially relaunched. YEP-Birmingham was originally founded by a group of K-12 teachers who were devoted to developing a professional network of educators in Birmingham, Alabama. Inspired by their time as educators, new leaders have recently joined the chapter to continue the mission of connecting passionate education professionals across the city.
The new leaders include Luke Chamberlin, President; Nora Samayoa, Director of Marketing and Communications; Jasmine Merlette, Director of Member Relations and Retention; Anjelica Harlow, Director of Program Outreach; and Elizabeth Bieri, Director of Operations. The YEP-Birmingham team is excited to use this platform to build community and promote education equity for all.
