Nicole Julian

Nicole is a policy analyst at the Hunt Institute, where she leads the Institute's Hunt-Kean Leadership Fellows program and early childhood initiative. She has been involved with number of organizations supporting education and policy, including LearnZillion, KIPP Metro Atlanta, and the Greenlining Institute. She studied public policy and chemistry at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Francisco Ramos
Cisco is the Assistant Dean for Assessment and Evaluation for The Graduate School at Duke University. Prior to joining Duke University, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his PhD in Education Policy Studies at Indiana University. He hold a MS in International and Comparative Education from Indiana University, and a BA in History from the Honors Program at the University of Michigan.

Troy Smith

Troy is a consultant with Public Impact, an education policy consulting firm based in Chapel Hill, NC. His primary work involves helping districts and schools implement new school models that extend the reach of excellent teachers and their teams. Prior to Public Impact, he taught high school English as a Teach for America corps member in Memphis, TN. He earned a master's degree in public policy from the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University and a BA in public policy from UNC-Chapel Hill.
